Zephyr IR for Intraoperative MRI
Intraoperative MRI surgical procedures
Intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging, or iMRI, enables neurosurgeons real-time views of the brain for pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative MRI imaging for a patient undergoing neurosurgery. Neurosurgeons use intraoperative imaging to differentiate abnormal brain tissue from normal brain tissue, ensuring the successful removal of the entire brain tumor. With the capability of intraoperative imaging, neurosurgeons can refine their surgical plans in real-time based upon the soft-tissue imaging provided by MR images.
The Zephyr IR family of patient hoverboards offers three different patient transfer hoverboards to meet the unique clinical requirements of intraoperative MRI. Each system provides a safe, secure and efficient means of transferring patients between surgery and MRI imaging.
Benefits of the Zephyr IR iMRI Hoverboards
- Integrate state-of-the-art CT, MRI, Angio, PET/CT and other imaging modalities into the surgical workflow
- Designed for use with MRI conditional skull clamps currently available on the market
- Maintain patient immobilization through the entire patient transfer process
- Safe, secure, and easy patient transfer for enabling iMRI patient workflows
